Ingredients Prep Save your Time
Thanks for ingredients prep, it’s a great time-saving method that works for me. It’s just prepping the components. Most vegetables that are going to be cooked can be chopped ahead of time, and refrigerated in airtight containers. You can throw together when you need it. At that point you just cook. For anyone with a busy lifestyle but are going to be saved raw, they should be prepared as close to saving time as possible. Fresh herb should be chopped right before using because cutting caused them to wilt and break down.
It has made cooking so much easier and doable, carefully read the recipe for steps that can be done ahead without compromising flavor, texture, and appearance. With the exception of fruits and vegetables that oxidize and turn brown when exposed to air, such as potato, apple, pear, banana, but some benefit from a little special handing to help preserve their flavor, texture or color. Kitchen Tips: About Caramelize Onions
The onions are cooked slowly to bring out their sweetness. The process of caramelization is created one of the most naturally delectable combinations of sweet, savory, and bitter flavor there is, as the natural sugars in the onions.
Caramelizing onions use a little oil slowly cook over an extended period of time, until they’re richly browned to pull flavor out of the ingredients.
I did not use white onion or yellow to make this recipe. I used red onion caramelized in vegetable oil add complexity flavor in the noodle dishes. And here’re a few of my favorite: in dip, in soup, as a burger or sandwich topping, with eggs, in pasta, on pizza.
